ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring the effects of a special exercise program called progressive resistance training, combined with traditional physical therapy, to help patients with Shoulder Impingement Syndrome. This condition occurs when the shoulder muscles and tendons get pinched during arm movements, causing pain and discomfort. The study aims to find out if this combination of therapies can improve shoulder function and reduce pain more effectively than traditional treatments alone.
The trial is looking for individuals aged 20 to 40 years, of any gender, who have been diagnosed with Shoulder Impingement Syndrome. Participants will receive hands-on physical therapy at the hospital, which includes heat therapy and electrical stimulation, followed by a guided exercise program that gradually increases in difficulty. It’s important to note that people with certain conditions, like joint diseases, heart issues, or recent surgeries, won’t be eligible to participate. If you join this study, you can expect to work closely with healthcare professionals to improve your shoulder strength and movement over the course of several weeks.
