ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different methods of preserving the bone and soft tissue in the mouth affect changes after a tooth is removed, specifically in the back teeth area (premolars and molars). The goal is to understand the best ways to help maintain the area where the tooth was, which is important for future dental procedures, like implants.
To participate in this study, you should be an adult between 18 and 74 years old, in good health (with controlled conditions like high blood pressure or diabetes), and need to have a tooth extraction where most of the bone is still intact. However, if you have gum disease, are pregnant or breastfeeding, smoke, are undergoing orthodontic treatment, or take certain medications that affect bone healing, you won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to follow a specific treatment protocol and have regular check-ups to monitor how the area heals over time.
