ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of stretching exercises as a treatment for kyphosis, a condition where the spine curves more than normal. The goal is to see if these exercises can help improve the posture of patients with postural kyphosis or Scheuermann's kyphosis, which is a specific type of spinal curve. The study is currently looking for participants aged 8 to 21 who have a significant curvature in their spine (more than 45 degrees) or other cases of excessive kyphosis. Parents of these young patients who are 18 and older and can complete a survey are also invited to take part.
If you or your child are eligible, you can expect to participate in exercises designed to help improve posture. This is a great opportunity to contribute to research that could lead to better treatment options for kyphosis. However, please note that patients with certain types of spinal conditions, like congenital kyphosis or scoliosis, will not be included in the trial.
