ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a special program designed to help preschool-aged children with unilateral cerebral palsy get ready for school. The researchers want to find out if the program is easy to use, if both the children and their caregivers like it, and how it affects the children’s readiness for school. To take part in the study, children need to be between 3 and 5 years old, have unilateral cerebral palsy (which means their movement is affected on one side of their body), and be able to see and show interest in objects.
Participants will go through some assessments before starting the program, which focuses on specific goals to help them prepare for school. After completing the program, there will be one more assessment to see how they did. This trial is currently looking for eligible participants, and it’s important to note that children with uncontrolled epilepsy, severe visual impairment, or serious behavioral issues cannot join. This study aims to help children with cerebral palsy gain skills that will help them succeed in school.
