ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how much physical activity people with neuromuscular diseases engage in. Participants will wear a small device that looks like a button on their leg for one week, every six months, over a period of three years. This device tracks their movements and helps researchers understand their activity levels better. In addition to wearing the device, participants will undergo a physical exam, a six-minute walking test, have their vital signs checked, and fill out some questionnaires about their health and activity.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be at least one year old and either have a confirmed neuromuscular disorder or be a control subject who does not have any such condition. It is important to note that individuals with certain health issues that might affect their safety or ability to participate will not be included. This study is currently looking for participants, and it offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to research that could improve understanding and treatment of neuromuscular diseases.
