ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a treatment called pulsed electromagnetic field stimulation on children and young adults with localized osteomyelitis, which is an infection in the bone. The goal is to see if this treatment can help improve their condition. The trial is currently looking for participants between the ages of 18 and 43 who have this type of infection in one or both of their lower limbs. Before joining the study, each potential participant will be evaluated by a doctor to ensure they are suitable for the trial.
To be eligible, participants must have localized osteomyelitis, but those with immune disorders or other serious health issues that could affect the study's goals will not be included. If someone decides to join, they can expect to receive the pulsed electromagnetic field treatment and be monitored by medical professionals throughout the study. This trial aims to provide valuable information that could help improve treatment options for children and young adults with osteomyelitis.
