ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a smartphone application designed to help university students who engage in binge drinking, which means drinking a lot of alcohol in a short amount of time. Binge drinking can lead to serious health issues, including memory problems and a higher risk of developing alcohol addiction. The researchers believe that this app can provide personalized feedback and support to help students reduce their drinking habits and improve their overall health.
To participate in the study, you need to be a student aged 18 to 25 who has binge drinking behavior, defined as having six or more drinks on at least one occasion in the past three months. You’ll also need to have a smartphone and agree to be part of the study. Participants will receive guidance through the app over a three-month period and will be monitored for changes in their drinking patterns. This trial aims to provide valuable insights into how technology can help young adults manage their alcohol consumption and improve their well-being.
