ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new test called the Lumella test, which is designed to help diagnose preeclampsia in pregnant women. Preeclampsia is a serious condition that can cause high blood pressure and other health issues during pregnancy. Women who visit the antenatal clinic or triage with symptoms of preeclampsia will be offered the Lumella test along with standard blood tests. The goal is to see how well the Lumella test works by comparing its results with those from traditional blood tests. Once 50 women with positive test results have been analyzed, the findings will be shared with health authorities.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be female, able to speak English, and willing to give their consent to join the study. They should also be experiencing symptoms of preeclampsia. If you or a loved one is interested in participating, you can expect to receive both the Lumella test and standard blood tests during your visit. It's important to note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there may be a wait before it begins.
