ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how childcare resources can help women with abnormal cervical cancer screenings, a condition known as cervical dysplasia. The researchers want to find out if offering childcare support can help women keep their appointments for important follow-up care. By linking women to a childcare facility before their first visit to the gynecology clinic, the trial aims to see if this assistance leads to more women attending their appointments compared to those who do not receive this help.
To be eligible for the trial, women must be between the ages of 18 and 74 and have received an abnormal result on their cervical cancer screening, leading them to be referred to the gynecology clinic. Unfortunately, pregnant women and those under 18 cannot participate. If you join the study, you will either receive support with childcare or go through the usual care process without this additional help. This trial is important because it aims to show how addressing childcare needs can improve healthcare access and outcomes for women facing cervical cancer screening and treatment.
