ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how resistance training—like lifting weights—might improve physical fitness, cognitive ability (thinking skills), and academic performance in young adults. Participants in this study will be divided into two groups: one group will do resistance training, while the other group will perform balance and body toning exercises. The researchers want to see if the type of exercise affects fitness and learning.
To be eligible for the trial, participants should be school-aged children between the ages of 12 and 17 years. However, individuals who have not fully healed from a recent muscle or joint injury, have any physical deformities or disabilities that could limit their exercise, or have any diseases that might affect their physical or mental performance cannot participate. If chosen for the study, participants can expect to engage in regular exercise sessions and contribute to important research that could help improve fitness and learning for young people.
