ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how mindfulness techniques can help people who have trouble sleeping (insomnia) and are also experiencing emotional distress. The researchers want to compare the effects of two different mindfulness programs to see which one is more effective in reducing feelings of distress and improving sleep quality.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between the ages of 65 and 74 and should have high scores on certain questionnaires that measure emotional distress and sleep problems. However, individuals who have recently participated in other mindfulness programs, or those with serious mental health issues, substance abuse problems, or who are at risk of suicide, cannot join the study. If you qualify and choose to participate, you'll likely engage in mindfulness exercises and activities designed to help you feel better emotionally and sleep more soundly. This trial is not yet recruiting, but it aims to gather valuable information that could help others facing similar challenges.
