ClinConnect Summary
The Belgian Registry on Coronary Function Testing is a clinical trial that aims to understand how coronary function tests are used in real-life situations for patients with heart conditions like coronary microvascular dysfunction and coronary artery vasospasm. The study will look at how often these tests are performed, why they are done, and how common these conditions are among patients. Data will be collected from participants' medical records, including their heart health history and risk factors, and they may also be asked to fill out questionnaires about their chest pain symptoms and overall quality of life.
To join the study, participants must be scheduled for a coronary function test, which involves specialized procedures to check how well their heart's small blood vessels are working. They should also be able to understand the study and agree to participate by signing a consent form. However, individuals who are pregnant, currently enrolled in another clinical trial, or unable to give consent cannot participate. It's an opportunity to contribute to a better understanding of heart health and improve future care for patients with similar conditions.
