ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new rehabilitation program called PAMPERO, designed for adults with genetic and degenerative forms of cerebellar ataxia, a condition that affects coordination and movement. The program aims to improve the symptoms of ataxia, which can lead to difficulties with walking and coordination, and ultimately impact a patient's quality of life. The trial will evaluate how effective this intensive 5-week rehabilitation program is by measuring changes in symptoms before and three months after the program ends.

To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of cerebellar ataxia through an MRI scan. They should be able to walk independently on flat surfaces, and they must agree to participate freely. The program has shown promising early results, but researchers want to understand how long these benefits last and how they affect daily life. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it represents a unique opportunity for individuals affected by this condition to potentially improve their quality of life through targeted rehabilitation.
