ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to guide muscle injections using a combination of MRI (a type of imaging that shows detailed pictures of the inside of the body) and ultrasound (a method that uses sound waves to create images of muscles). The goal is to see if using both types of images together can help doctors place Botox injections more accurately compared to using ultrasound alone. This technique has not been used before for muscle injections, and researchers want to see if it improves the process.
To participate in this study, you need to be an adult who is able to give consent and requires an ultrasound-guided Botox injection in the Radiology Department. Unfortunately, children and individuals who cannot consent or have certain conditions that prevent them from having an MRI will not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive either the standard ultrasound-guided injection or the new method that combines MRI and ultrasound. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it's a great opportunity to contribute to new advancements in muscle injection techniques.
