ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating the use of nebulized magnesium sulfate to see how it affects patients' heart and blood vessel responses during a procedure called intubation, which is when a tube is placed in the airway to help with breathing. The researchers believe that magnesium sulfate may help reduce stress on the body during this process, potentially leading to a smoother experience for patients.
To participate in this trial, you would need to be between 20 and 50 years old and scheduled for a specific type of surgery called elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy, which is a minimally invasive surgery to remove the gallbladder. However, certain conditions might exclude you, such as having a severe allergic reaction to magnesium sulfate, certain heart problems, or if you are expected to have a difficult intubation. This study is currently not recruiting participants, but if it were, individuals taking part would be closely monitored during their procedure to assess the effects of the magnesium sulfate.
