ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Obesity Phenotypes and Its Relation to Cardiovascular Diseases," aims to explore how different types of obesity may impact heart health. Researchers will look at various obesity patterns and their connections to cardiovascular diseases by using tests like echocardiography (a heart ultrasound) and checking cholesterol levels. They also want to understand how common these obesity types are in our community and how they relate to other health issues, like diabetes and liver problems.
To participate in this study, individuals must be at least 18 years old and not have certain health conditions, such as congenital heart diseases or type 1 diabetes. Pregnant women and those who have had specific weight loss surgeries are also excluded. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it starts, eligible individuals will have the chance to contribute to important research that may improve our understanding of obesity and heart disease.
