ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different types of functional intraocular lenses (IOLs) affect vision in people with cataracts. When someone has cataracts, their vision can become blurry, and IOLs are used to help improve sight after cataract surgery. The trial aims to compare both the objective (measured) and subjective (personal experience) visual outcomes of these lenses to see which ones work best.
To participate in this study, you must be over 18 years old and have cataracts. However, if you have certain eye conditions like amblyopia (lazy eye), or if you've had previous eye surgeries or other serious eye diseases, you might not be eligible. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if you do take part, you'll receive a specific type of IOL, and doctors will follow your vision improvement over time. This study is important because it could help improve the choices available for cataract surgery and lead to better visual outcomes for patients.
