ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the best way to teach medical students by comparing two different approaches. The researchers want to find out if learning through hands-on practice (called simulation) before a traditional lecture helps students remember and perform better than if they have the lecture first and then do the simulation. To do this, second-year medical students at the University of British Columbia will be randomly assigned to one of these two groups.
If you're a second-year medical student at UBC, you could participate in this study. There are no specific exclusions, so as long as you meet the age and student criteria, you’re eligible. Participants can expect to either experience the simulation before or after the lecture and share their feedback on what they learned. The results will help improve medical education and how future doctors are trained.
