ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how pulmonary rehabilitation, which includes exercises and activities to help improve lung function, can benefit children with primary immunodeficiency (PID). PID is a condition that affects the immune system, making it harder for the body to fight off infections. Many children with PID experience lung-related issues, so this study aims to see if a rehabilitation program can improve their overall health and quality of life.
To participate in this trial, children must be between the ages of 6 and 18 and diagnosed with primary immunodeficiency. However, those with recent severe lung infections, certain serious health conditions, or who have participated in a structured exercise program in the last three months are not eligible. If enrolled, participants will take part in a tailored exercise program designed to help their lung function and overall fitness. The trial is currently recruiting, and it's an opportunity for families to contribute to important research that could lead to better care for children with this condition.
