ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how common hidden or "subclinical" vertebral fractures are in people with two specific conditions: Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). These fractures can occur without any obvious symptoms, making it important to understand how often they happen in patients with these diseases. The study aims to gather information that could help improve care for individuals living with RA and AS.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be between the ages of 18 and 50 and meet specific criteria for RA or AS. Unfortunately, people with other autoimmune diseases, certain infections, known vertebral fractures, or specific health issues like cancer or kidney disease will not be eligible. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it begins, those who qualify can expect to contribute to important research that may lead to better treatment options for their conditions.
