This clinical trial is exploring how a smartphone app, combined with support from a health coach, can help people in Athy, Co. Kildare, Ireland, make healthy lifestyle changes. The goal is to encourage small, manageable changes that can lead to better health, focusing on areas like sleep, stress management, physical activity, healthy eating, building positive relationships, and avoiding harmful substances like tobacco and alcohol. This is a new initiative in Ireland, with Athy being the first town to participate.
To join this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and live, work, or spend time within a 5-kilometer radius of Athy. The study will last for six months, from May to October 2024, and is not yet open for recruitment. If you take part, you can expect to receive guidance from a health coach through the app, helping you to establish and maintain healthier habits. - • Any citizen who lives works or plays in Athy or the surrounding hinterland and townlands within a 5 KM radius of the town centre
