Cervical Spondylosis Of Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Type

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is investigating a unique treatment for cervical spondylosis, a condition that affects the neck and can cause pain and stiffness. The researchers want to see if a combination of cupping therapy and bloodletting is more effective than traditional massage therapy for relieving symptoms. Cupping involves using suction cups on the skin to improve blood flow, while bloodletting involves making small punctures to help remove stagnation in the blood. The main goal is to find out how well this combination helps patients feel better and improves their neck movement.

To participate in this study, individuals should be between 18 and 80 years old, have had neck pain for at least three months, and meet specific diagnostic criteria for cervical spondylosis. People who have had neck or shoulder surgery, are pregnant, or have certain health issues, such as serious heart or kidney diseases, cannot join the trial. Participants will receive one of the treatments and will be closely monitored to see how well it works. If you're considering joining, you will need to provide informed consent, meaning you agree to take part in the study after understanding what it involves.
