ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how hospitals can better and faster evaluate patients who may be having a stroke. When someone has a stroke, they are often taken to the nearest hospital, but sometimes they need to be transferred to a different hospital that offers more advanced care. The study aims to improve the process of quickly assessing stroke patients and deciding who needs to be transferred, ensuring they receive the specialized treatments they need without unnecessary delays.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old and diagnosed with specific types of strokes, such as acute ischemic stroke or hemorrhagic stroke. Unfortunately, those under 18, those with certain other conditions, or those who leave the hospital against medical advice cannot join. Participants will help hospitals learn how to implement better care protocols for stroke patients, and they can expect to be part of a process that aims to improve treatment outcomes for future patients. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it’s an opportunity to contribute to important research in stroke care.
