ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how patients with persistent lower back pain feel about their sleep health while they are waiting for physiotherapy treatment. Researchers want to find out if these patients think that sleep is important for their recovery and how they believe sleep issues should be addressed during their physiotherapy sessions. Participants will take part in an interview and fill out two questionnaires about their sleep quality and how their pain affects their daily life.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old, have been experiencing lower back pain for more than three months, and be on the waiting list for outpatient physiotherapy at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. However, individuals who have had recent spinal surgery, serious spinal problems, or certain other medical conditions won't be able to join. If you participate, you'll help researchers learn more about the connection between sleep and back pain, which could improve care for future patients.
