ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into two different ways to help caregivers of children with special needs who suffer from neck and back pain. The study will compare traditional physiotherapy, which usually takes place in a clinic, with telerehabilitation, which allows caregivers to receive therapy from home. This is important because many caregivers have trouble accessing physical therapy services due to their responsibilities.
To join the study, participants need to be between 20 and 60 years old and must be taking care of a child with special needs. They should have had neck or back pain for at least three months. However, there are some people who won't be able to participate, such as those who care for children with hearing or vision impairments, or who have certain medical conditions like recent surgeries or neurological disorders. If eligible, participants can expect to engage in therapy sessions designed to ease their pain and improve their overall well-being, all while being able to stay at home. The trial is not yet recruiting, but it's a great opportunity for caregivers who may struggle to find relief from their pain.
