ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a treatment called amniotic membrane therapy for women who have interstitial cystitis or painful bladder syndrome (IC/PBS). This condition can cause severe bladder and pelvic pain, along with a frequent and urgent need to urinate. The main goal of the study is to see if this new therapy can help relieve symptoms and improve the quality of life for women who have not found relief from other treatments.
To participate in the trial, women must be at least 18 years old, speak English, and have been diagnosed with IC/PBS after trying at least one other treatment without success. Participants will receive the therapy and help researchers understand how effective it is by answering questions about their symptoms. This study is currently recruiting, so if you or someone you know fits the eligibility criteria and is looking for new treatment options, this could be a chance to get involved.
