ClinConnect Summary
The clinical trial titled "Living With Stroke - Sustainable Utilization of Healthcare Services" is focused on understanding how people live after experiencing a stroke. The study aims to map out how healthcare services are used by stroke survivors in the community, examine how individual health and personal characteristics relate to their health outcomes, and gather insights on what patients feel they need from health services. This will help improve the way care is provided to those living with the effects of a stroke.
To participate in this study, individuals must be at least 18 years old, have been diagnosed with a stroke between 2010 and 2022, and have been living in the community for at least one year since their stroke. Participants will include those who can understand Hebrew, Arabic, or Russian well enough to consent and complete surveys. The study will involve looking at past medical records, having around 240 participants fill out questionnaires, and conducting in-depth interviews with 20 people to learn about their experiences. This research is important as it will help identify gaps in care and support for stroke survivors, ultimately aiming to enhance their quality of life.
