ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring how people over 60 years old, who are at risk of falls, feel about exercising at home. The study will interview participants to understand their experiences with falls and what makes it easier or harder for them to stay active. The researchers want to learn about the types of exercise formats that people prefer, like printed leaflets or online programs, how comfortable they are discussing their fall risks with healthcare providers, and if there are barriers to exercising due to health inequalities.

To be eligible for this trial, participants must be aged 60 or older and have a history of falls or conditions that could lead to falls, like muscle weakness or balance issues. Participants will have one-on-one interviews, either in person or remotely, to share their thoughts. The information gathered will help improve exercise programs and support for older adults to reduce their risk of falls. The study is currently recruiting participants and aims to gather insights over the next year.
