ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a program called internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (iCBT) that has been specially adapted for Arabic-speaking refugee and migrant youth. The goal is to see if this online therapy can help reduce common mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and stress, which many young people in this community face. The researchers believe that those who participate in the iCBT program will feel better compared to those who do not receive this treatment.

To join the study, participants need to be between the ages of 15 and 29, have a refugee or migrant background, and must be able to read and write in Arabic. They should also have a stable internet connection and access to a device like a computer or smartphone. The program lasts for 6 to 10 weeks, and participants should be able to commit to it during that time. However, individuals with severe mental health issues, substance abuse problems, or those currently receiving other psychological treatments will not be eligible for this trial. Overall, this study aims to provide important support to young people facing mental health challenges in their communities.
