ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special nutritional supplement, called immunonutrition, can help women undergoing surgery for gynecologic cancer. The aim is to see if this supplement can improve recovery after surgery, especially for those who may be at risk of malnutrition due to issues with digestion, low food intake, or higher nutritional needs.
To participate in the trial, women must have a gynecologic cancer and be scheduled for surgery at the study center. They should be able to take oral nutritional supplements. However, some patients may not be eligible if they have serious health issues that prevent them from following the study's guidelines. Participants can expect to receive the immunonutrition supplement around the time of their surgery and will be monitored for how it affects their recovery. This trial is currently looking for volunteers, and it could provide important insights into improving care for women facing these health challenges.
