ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a dietary supplement called Synaquell™ to see how it might affect brain function in young athletes who participate in contact sports, such as football or hockey. The researchers want to understand if this supplement can help improve the mental performance of these athletes while they continue to play their sport.
To take part in this study, participants need to be between the ages of 14 and 18 and must be fluent in English. They should also have been cleared by a doctor to play contact sports. However, some individuals cannot participate, such as those with allergies to the ingredients in Synaquell™, those with certain medical devices like hearing aids or pacemakers, and individuals who are pregnant. If you join the study, you will be closely monitored while taking Synaquell™ or a placebo (a substance with no active ingredients) to see how it affects your brain function. This trial is currently looking for volunteers, and it’s a great opportunity to contribute to important research in sports health.
