ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying mental health issues in Chinese communities by using a model called the Hierarchical Model of Psychopathology (HiTOP). The goal is to understand how mental health problems are diagnosed differently in Chinese culture compared to Western cultures and to explore the effects of childhood experiences on mental health. Researchers want to learn about the unique psychological factors that contribute to mental health issues and how they relate to different symptoms.
To participate, you must be a Chinese citizen, at least 18 years old, and have completed at least 9 years of education. Participants will fill out detailed surveys about their mental health symptoms, childhood experiences, and other psychological factors. The study will follow participants for four years to track any changes in their symptoms over time. This research is important because it aims to improve mental health diagnoses and treatment in the Chinese population.
