ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the short-term effects of two specific stretching techniques, called ELDOA and slump stretching, on people with mechanical low back pain. Researchers want to find out how effective each technique is in reducing pain and improving movement and walking patterns in individuals aged 18 to 45 who experience significant back pain. By comparing these two methods, the trial aims to determine which one may provide greater relief for patients.
To participate in this study, candidates must be between 18 and 45 years old, have a pain level of at least 5 on a scale from 0 to 10, and show a positive result on a specific test for back pain. However, individuals with certain medical conditions, such as severe spinal issues or a history of spinal surgery, cannot participate. If selected, participants will receive one of the stretching techniques along with standard physical therapy. Throughout the trial, their pain levels and how well they can move will be measured to assess the effectiveness of each treatment.
