ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well dialysis treatment works and how it affects the nutrition and overall health of patients who are undergoing hemodialysis. Hemodialysis is a process that helps filter waste and extra fluid from the blood when the kidneys are not working properly. The researchers want to understand if better dialysis can improve the nutritional status of patients and, in turn, enhance their quality of life.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and currently receiving regular hemodialysis. However, if you have certain health conditions like thyroid problems, active infections, recent major surgeries, cancer, liver cirrhosis, or inflammatory bowel diseases, you won't be able to join. Although the trial is not recruiting participants yet, it will eventually offer an opportunity for eligible patients to help improve our understanding of the relationship between dialysis, nutrition, and quality of life.
