ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring the effectiveness of the Mollii Suit, a special garment designed to help children with spastic cerebral palsy. The suit has electrodes inside that stimulate muscles to improve movement and reduce stiffness, which can help kids perform better in daily activities like walking, playing, and even sleeping. The goal is to see if wearing the Mollii Suit can enhance motor skills, balance, and overall quality of life for children aged 4 to 18 who can walk but may struggle with muscle tightness.
To participate in this study, children need to have a diagnosis of spastic cerebral palsy and be able to communicate their pain and discomfort. They should also be between the ages of 4 and 18 and fall within a specific range on a scale that measures their motor abilities. Participants will wear the Mollii Suit and undergo assessments to see how it affects their movement and well-being. If you think your child may benefit from this trial, it could be a great opportunity to explore innovative rehabilitation technology.
