ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the ergonomic benefits of using robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery (RALS) for performing hysterectomies and other surgical procedures. The goal is to see if using robotic technology can help reduce strain and discomfort for surgeons during these operations. The trial is taking place at the University Hospital Tübingen and is currently looking for participants.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between 18 and 68 years old and must be trained surgeons who can work a full shift. Those who are currently taking pain medication, unable to perform their usual work, have acute illnesses, or have muscle injuries will not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to contribute to important research that could improve surgical techniques and the working conditions for surgeons. Your participation could help enhance the understanding of how robotic assistance impacts surgical practices, which may benefit both surgeons and patients in the future.
