ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a specific type of depression called treatment-resistant depression (TRAD), which does not respond well to standard treatments. The researchers want to see if a new approach, called the Dopaminergic Antidepressant Therapy Algorithm (DATA), can help people with this condition. The DATA method includes two steps: the first step uses certain medications alone, and if that isn’t enough, the second step combines these medications for better results. The goal is to evaluate how well this approach works in everyday medical settings for individuals struggling with TRAD.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be adults aged 18 or older and have been seen at the Expert Resistant Depression Center in Alsace for their treatment-resistant depression between January 2013 and March 2023. Participants should be open to allowing their medical data to be used for research purposes. Those who do not wish to participate or are under legal protection cannot join the study. If you take part, you can expect to receive care based on the new treatment recommendations and help researchers understand how effective these strategies are for managing this challenging form of depression.
