ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring the effects of two rehabilitation methods—Compressive Myofascial Release and Ankle Joint Mobilization—on individuals who have had surgery to repair an Achilles tendon. The goal is to see how these treatments can improve ankle movement, muscle elasticity, stiffness, and overall functional performance, which includes activities like walking, running, and jumping. This is important because many people experience limitations after an Achilles tendon injury, making it hard to return to their normal activities and sports.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be male, between the ages of 18 and 55, and have had a single Achilles tendon repair at least six months ago. They should not have any open wounds or a history of related injuries. If you join the trial, you can expect to participate in sessions focused on these manual therapy techniques and complete various tests to measure your progress. It’s a great opportunity to potentially improve your recovery and regain your functional abilities.
