ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying anxiety and depression among gendarmes (French police officers) who are stationed in French Guiana. The researchers believe that being assigned to a remote location for a long time may increase the risk of experiencing anxiety and depression. To learn more about this issue, the study will involve two parts: one part where participants fill out anonymous questionnaires, and another part where they take part in interviews and focus group discussions. The goal is to gather insights that can help create better support and prevention programs for those at risk.

To participate in this study, gendarmes must be over 18 years old and have been assigned to French Guiana for at least six months. They should be actively working and not have any previous psychiatric conditions or significant disabilities that would prevent them from participating. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide valuable information on how to improve mental health support for gendarmes facing unique challenges in their work environment.
