ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on developing a special training tool that looks like the upper part of the human body, specifically designed to help nursing students learn how to insert a nasogastric tube. This tube is used to provide nutrition or medication directly into the stomach for patients who cannot eat normally. By using this realistic manikin, students can practice their skills in a safe and controlled environment.
To participate in the study, you need to be training at Fu Jen Catholic University Hospital and agree to join by signing a consent form. Everyone aged 65 and older is welcome to participate. If you choose to take part, you'll be involved in a training program that uses this new model, helping to improve the learning experience for future nurses. It's important to note that if you do not wish to participate, that’s completely okay; participation is voluntary.
