ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way of delivering radiation therapy called online adaptive radiotherapy (ART) using a special machine called the ETHOS treatment system. This approach allows doctors to adjust the radiation treatment plans every day during the therapy, which usually lasts several weeks. These adjustments are made based on real-time scans that show how the tumor and surrounding tissues may change during treatment. The goal is to see how well this method works for patients with various types of cancer, including prostate, head and neck, lung, and bladder cancers. The trial will also look at how patients and doctors can provide feedback on treatment side effects using electronic tools.
To participate in the trial, you must be an adult over 18 years old who has been recommended for radiation therapy. You cannot be pregnant or unable to give consent. If you join the study, you can expect a highly personalized treatment plan where adjustments are made regularly based on your specific needs. This innovative approach aims to improve the effectiveness of radiation therapy while also monitoring any side effects you might experience. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could help advance cancer treatment for many patients in the future.
