Premenstrual Syndrome Women Reproductive Age Prevalence

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking into the prevalence of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) among women who are of reproductive age. PMS includes a variety of physical and emotional symptoms that many women experience before their menstrual period begins. These symptoms can significantly affect a woman's daily life, but often go unreported because women may think they are normal or not serious enough to discuss with their healthcare providers. The goal of this study is to better understand how common PMS really is, so that more women can receive the help they need.

To participate in this trial, women must be over 18 years old and still have regular menstrual cycles, meaning they are not in menopause or have had a hysterectomy. The study is not currently recruiting participants, but once it begins, women who qualify will be asked to share their experiences with PMS. This research is important because it may lead to better recognition and treatment options for those who suffer from PMS, improving their quality of life.
