ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how virtual reality (VR) technology can help older adults living in retirement homes maintain their health and well-being. The researchers want to find out if using VR can support physical activity, mental exercises, and social interactions among seniors. They also aim to understand what kind of help older adults might need to learn how to use this technology effectively.
To participate, you need to be an independent resident of the retirement home and not have certain medical conditions, like a pacemaker or a risk of epilepsy. If you join the study, you will take part in five training sessions where you will learn to use a VR headset and play games that help move your arms. At the start and end of each session, you'll fill out a questionnaire about your experience. The trial will compare two different approaches to see which one provides better support for using VR, making it easier for older adults to stay active and healthy.
