ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new way to use ultrasound to measure how severe adenomyosis is in women. Adenomyosis is a condition where the tissue that normally lines the uterus grows into the wall of the uterus, which can cause pain and heavy bleeding. The goal of the study is to create a clear method for doctors to evaluate the severity of this condition and see how consistent their assessments are. The trial is currently looking for women aged 18 and older who are premenopausal and show specific signs of adenomyosis on ultrasound.

To participate, women should not be taking hormonal medications and should not have other conditions that could cause similar symptoms, like certain types of endometriosis or fibroids. If eligible, participants will undergo ultrasound examinations to help researchers develop this new grading method for adenomyosis. This study is important because it aims to improve how doctors diagnose and treat this condition, ultimately leading to better care for patients.
