ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how frailty affects patients who are critically ill and are receiving care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Frailty is a condition that can make people weaker and more vulnerable, and the researchers want to see how this condition impacts patients' recovery, both in younger and older adults. They will also explore how the ICU environment might influence frailty.

To participate in this study, individuals must be over 18 years old and currently receiving treatment in the ICU. Unfortunately, those under 18 years old cannot join. If someone is eligible and decides to participate, they will help researchers learn more about the link between frailty and critical care, which could improve future care for patients in similar situations. It’s important to note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so it’s still in the planning stages.
