ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help patients who have spent time in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and may be at risk for emotional or physical issues afterward. The researchers want to see if an early, team-based approach can make a difference for these patients, helping them manage problems like anxiety, depression, or physical disabilities that can occur after their ICU stay.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have been in the ICU for at least 12 hours. They need to show signs that they might have problems after their ICU experience, based on specific assessments used in the study. However, individuals with serious cognitive issues, major brain or spinal injuries, or those who cannot communicate in Swedish are not eligible. If you choose to participate, you can expect to work with a team of healthcare professionals focused on your recovery and well-being during your hospital stay.
