ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a treatment option for people who have had an acute ischemic stroke caused by what is known as tandem occlusion, which means there are blockages in two areas of blood vessels in the brain. The goal of the study is to see how well emergency stenting, a procedure to open up these blocked vessels, improves patients' health outcomes over three months. Researchers want to compare the results from two different blood circulation areas in the brain to understand the benefits of this treatment better.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be at least 18 years old and have experienced a stroke that is serious enough to require treatment. They should have a good level of function before the stroke and a certain level of stroke severity. If you or a loved one is considering joining this trial, you should know that it is currently recruiting participants, and the treatment will be closely monitored. Participants will receive care and follow-up to assess their recovery over the coming months.
