ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how respiratory viruses affect the nose and can potentially spread to the lungs and other people. Researchers want to collect samples from the inside of the noses of healthy volunteers to help them study these viruses better. This research is important because infections in the lungs can be very serious and are a leading cause of death worldwide.
To participate, you must be at least 18 years old and in good health, meaning you shouldn't have had any cold-like symptoms such as a runny nose, cough, or fever in the last two weeks. If you decide to join, you'll visit a clinic for a single appointment where a staff member will help you use a small swab to collect a sample from your nose. Your personal information will be kept private, and you won't be contacted again after your visit. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you meet the criteria and are interested, it could be a great opportunity to contribute to important health research.
