ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how changes in brain imaging, specifically MRI scans, might affect thinking and memory in women with a condition called premature ovarian failure (POF). POF occurs when a woman's ovaries stop working before the age of 40, which can lead to various symptoms and health issues. Researchers want to understand how these brain changes are linked to cognitive function, or how well someone can think and remember.

Women aged 18 to 40 who have been diagnosed with POF can participate in this study. To qualify, they need to have specific hormone levels confirmed by blood tests and must be able to give their consent to join. The study will also include a comparison group of healthy women who are similar in age and other factors but do not have POF. Participants in the trial will undergo MRI scans and answer questions about their health, and they can expect to contribute valuable information that could help improve understanding and treatment of POF. It’s important to note that some women, such as those who are pregnant or have certain medical conditions, will not be eligible to join the study.
