ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on creating new personalized 3D models to study pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, which are a type of cancer that affects the pancreas. By using tissue samples from patients who have had surgery to remove these tumors, researchers hope to better understand how the disease develops and grows. Additionally, these models will help test new treatments to find out which ones might work best for patients.

To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old and undergoing surgery for a non-functioning pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor. Those with other types of tumors won't qualify. If you choose to participate, you'll be asked to give your consent, and your excess tissue from the surgery will be used to help create these models. This research could lead to better treatments and outcomes for patients with this condition in the future.
